Trash day, bulk pickup, leaf collection and drop-off dates · Cuyahoga County · 2026 schedule, checked against the city's own notices on Thursday, October 29
City vacuum trucks start Monday, November 2, 2026, working north to south through five sections and aiming for one full pass a week. The city posts each morning which sections crews are working; the final date will be announced later.
No need to call in your leaves.
Sections: 1 north of Lake Road; 2 Lake Road to Detroit Road; 3 Detroit Road to Hilliard Boulevard; 4 Hilliard Boulevard to Center Ridge Road; 5 Center Ridge Road south to the city limits. After Section 5, crews start again at Section 1.
Loose leaves on the tree lawn near the curb. Keep them out of the street, sidewalks and storm drains.
No sticks, branches, rocks, grass clippings, pumpkins or trash in the pile, and no bagged leaves mixed in.
Crews will not collect around or between parked cars. A blocked or missed pile gets a notice and is picked up on the next pass; crews do not backtrack.
Weekly collection is a goal, not a guarantee: rain, wet leaves and breakdowns can slow it.
City crews collect once a week; the city is split into five sections, each with its own day. Call the Service Department (440-356-5630) for your day. Nothing goes out before 7 p.m. the night before.
Every week on your section's day
