Privacy policy
We count visits. That's it.
Last updated October 29, 2026.
Curb Tracker has no accounts, no sign-ups, no cookies, no ads and no tracking pixels. We don't know who you are. The one thing we do is count how many people visit, and which pages they read, so we can tell whether this is useful to anyone.
What we count
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, the analytics built into our host, Cloudflare. For each page view it records:
- the page you looked at (the address only; Cloudflare does not keep anything after a "?" in it)
- the site that linked you here, if any
- your country
- your browser, operating system, and whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer
- how fast the page loaded
We see these only as totals (how many visits each page had, and from what kind of device), never as individual visitors.
What it does not do
In Cloudflare's own words, Web Analytics "does not use any client-side state, such as cookies or localStorage", and Cloudflare does not "fingerprint" individuals via their IP address, browser or anything else. It does not follow you to other sites or build a profile of you. Cloudflare keeps the detailed records for 7 days and then keeps only summaries. Its details are on Cloudflare's Web Analytics page.
That is the only third-party script on the site. We don't use Google Analytics or any other tracking service, and we don't sell or share anything.
When you visit a page
Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your IP address and basic browser details to deliver the page and to block attacks, under its own privacy policy. Everything else a page needs (the fonts, the map code, the street lines) comes from curbtracker.com itself.
When you use the map
The street search runs entirely in your browser. What you type never leaves your device, and nothing is saved in your browser.
What we do store
Only public city information: the street lists, dates and schedules that cities publish on their own websites, which Curb Tracker reads and keeps so the pages can show them.
If you email us
If you write to hello@woodshack.net, we have your email address and whatever you send. We use it to answer you and for nothing else. We never sell or share it.
Links to other sites
Pages link to city websites and a few others. Those sites have their own policies once you click through.
Changes
If this ever changes, this page will say so first, with a new date at the top. Questions: hello@woodshack.net.
