Trash day, bulk pickup, leaf collection and drop-off dates · Lorain County · 2026 schedule, checked against the city's own notices on Thursday, October 29
Citywide leaf collection begins Monday, November 2, 2026 and runs for about six weeks, reaching every street at least once. Crews follow a set route and will not leave it. The city publishes no route or progress list.
Rake leaves to the curb line. Do not put them in the street: it is a minor misdemeanor (Ordinance 311.01(f)).
No branches or other debris in the pile; it damages the equipment and the pile may be skipped.
Do not park on or near leaf piles, or the leaves will not be collected.
Large piles do not get priority over small ones. Keep children from playing in leaves near the street.
Weekly on your scheduled day: trash, recycling and yard waste together. Carts out by 7 a.m., but not before 7 p.m. the night before. The city site does not list days by street or a holiday schedule; call Republic.
Every week on your scheduled pickup day
